Like many people, switching off at the end of the day — and drifting into sleep — can sometimes be difficult. For generations, the iconic sounds and soothing voice of BBC Radio 4’s The Shipping Forecast have offered a calm and familiar companion at bedtime.
We were delighted to learn that two of Joe Dworniak’s compositions were selected for BBC Sounds’ The Sleeping Forecast — a unique reimagining of The Shipping Forecast, pairing tranquil instrumental music from BBC Introducing with the original broadcast to help listeners unwind and sleep.
